Hashocean bitcoin cloud mining shuts down its online presence - Did you scammed with most trusted cloud mining?

27 June 2016, San Francisco based bitcoin cloud mining company hashocean went offline. Is this another bitcoin cloud mining Ponzi scheme? Currently, it looks exactly the same as all other bitcoin cloud mining scam. It’s been online since January 2015 and site has got number of new registration in short time.

We have always been sceptic about the legitimacy of this company hashocean, based on following point:

1) Looking at Domain registration details

2) Looking at Company registered address ( Google map shows a bar at this location)

3) Expected ROI doesn’t change with total network hashrate, difficulty, or bitcoin exchange rate.

4) Contact telephone number just automated IVR Recorded message.

We know many cloud bitcoin mining review sites have ranked this company as very trustful. We have also seen several ranking sites have hashocean as their top cloud mining website. We don´t know for sure yet that this is the end of the company.

Did you get an Email from HashOcean?

Some of hashocean members received an email regarding offline status as follow with error in Text (Dear Minesr,)

Dear Minesr,

"Many people started to claim that we were scammers/ scammed 700,000 user! We would like to let you know that the domain is the only case, because the domain was transferred to another account, in case we changed the domain, we will transfer all the users/powers. We are working hard to get everything Back Normal in the next 48Hours. Keep Calm & Daily payout will be executed as usual. Happy mining! Team HashOcean.."

However, according to our experience, it´s high probability that this is the end of the biggest cloud mining scam so far.

As we investigated one more domain with .co.uk extension (http://www.hashocean.co.uk/) live currently with all their active members of hashocean.com. Is this new domain as per Hashocean emailed their members? You never know what tomorrow may bring.

We have emailed Hashocean for an explanation and we will update news if we receive any answer from the company.
